i really enjoyed my stay at griffinbay. it's perfectly located near the fish market and BIFF square—super easy to explore the area. the staff were cooperative and did their best to assist me with directions. the room was cozy, and the mattress was fantastic for a good night’s sleep.

Bathrooms are cramped without separation between shower and toilet, leading to a wet mess after use. Noise levels can be bothersome, as soundproofing is lacking, allowing street noise and guests' conversations to intrude. Additionally, the reliance on only one of two elevators for access to rooms can mean lengthy wait times, especially during busy periods.

Recommend it for families with kids
The staff was helpful-had a little issue with the mattress, and they had it swapped out in under an hour! Breakfast was a world of options, and I loved that they kept switching things up every day. They had vegan choices too! You don’t have to stress about finding food first thing in the morning, it's all taken care of.
